Russian Humor Video - White Sun of The Desert

Loading ...If you do not know The White Sun of Desert (Beloe Solntce Pustuni), you did not live in the USSR. The movie is done in Western style, with guns, shooting, men on horses, Eastern flavour, bad guys and heroes. The plot is as follows. It is 20es of the 20th century. Bad guy Abdulla is involved in smuggling and has many wives. His opponent is custom official Vereschagin who doesn’t care much about anything and lives simple life in his oasis land with peacocks and eating black caviar. The Red Army officer Sukhov is very persistant to fight against enemies of Soviet authorities and asks Vereschagin to help the Red Army. And Abdulla also asks Vereschagin, the tough man, to help him. In this episode Vereschagin treats harshly the ambassador of Abdulla who is sent to ask for grenades.
(Vereschagin sings “I am not lucky in death, I will be lucky in love”)
(Abdulla man - AM enters to the room after ascending the step ladder and sees Vereschagin lying on bed and singing)
(AM) Do you still sing? I am from Abdulla. We run short of grenades, and we know you have good supply of them. (looking around, then becoming angry)
Shut up! Stop this silly song! Stand up when officer addresses you!
(Then AM breaks the wooden shuttles with his head and falls from the second floor in sand. He stand up, shakes off from sand and jumps on his horse, addresses his companion-in-arms):
- Oh, he has grenades of wrong type!
